Alki Beach clean-up recap

The Seattle Buckeyes hit West Seattle’s Alki Beach with gusto on the overcast morning of April 20.  This much loved beach was already very clean, but the Buckeyes persevered and found as many cigarette butts as possible along with a bit of trash.  This volunteer event was followed by a fun lunch stop at nearby Duke’s on Alki, famous for its sustainably-sourced seafood, which coordinated well with our efforts of keeping Puget Sound clean for all. By the time we left, the sun was shining and it was a good time had by all.
